Tissue double-sided tape is primarily composed of three elements: a tissue paper substrate, an adhesive, and a release liner. The tissue paper substrate forms the core structure of the tape; typically made from specially treated, thin fibrous paper, it is characterized by good flexibility, uniform thickness, and ease of processing. Its excellent adhesive-absorbing properties allow the adhesive to be distributed evenly across the surface, thereby enhancing the tape's overall bonding performance.
The adhesive is the critical component determining the tape's performance and is usually applied to both sides of the tissue substrate. Common adhesive types include acrylic, rubber-based, and hot-melt adhesives. Acrylic adhesives offer superior aging resistance, temperature resistance, and long-term bonding stability, making them suitable for applications requiring high reliability; rubber-based adhesives are characterized by strong initial tack and ease of application, making them common choices for general household and office use.

Common release materials include release paper and release film; the protective layer is simply peeled off during use to expose the adhesive surface for bonding. High-quality release materials ensure the integrity of the adhesive layer and enhance the product's ease of use.
